AckroLam Flush Doors

All AckroLam flush internal fire doors are made from a combination of solid wood based and AckroShield non combustible sheet material, bonded with AckroBond high temperature resistant adhesive giving an exceptionally high level of fire resistance.

 

60+ minute fire resistance at 44mm thickness, 90+ & 120+ at 54mm thickness.

F60

AckroLam F60 / 44 – One hour fire rated doors to EN 1634

A 44mm thick door construction comprising 25mm Particleboard, 6mm AckroShield M, 3mm MDF.

  • Available in singles and pairs up to 2400 high overall frame. 

  • Finishes - veneers, HPL and factory painted. 

  • Glazing with timber hardwood beads or steel bezels

  • Only available with AckroFrames

Permissible configurations and sizes

Fire tested in pair and single form up to nom. 2400 high overall frame.

  • Equal & unequal pairs up to 838mm for each leaf

F90

AckroLam F90 / 54 – One and half hour fire rated doors to EN 1634

 

A 54mm thick door construction comprising 30mm Particleboard, 9mm AckroShield M, 3mm MDF.

  • Available in singles and pairs up to 2400 high overall frame. 

  • Finishes - veneers, HPL and factory painted. 

  • Glazing with steel bezels 

  • Only available with AckroFrame

F120

AckroLam F120 / 54 – Two hour fire rated doors to EN 1634

 

A 54mm thick door construction comprising 25mm Particleboard, 12mm AckroShield M, 2mm HDF. 

  • Available in singles and pairs up to 2400 high overall frame

  • Finishes - veneers, HPL and factory painted. 

  • Glazing with steel bezels 

  • Only available with AckroFrames

  • Our made to measure fire doors are available as door-sets or assemblies only with door-leaf and frame.

  • May be supplied unfinished and in component form to approved fabricators and manufacturers.

AcroFrame & AcroFrame KD
Frames for Bespoke Fire Doors

AckroFrame

 

A frame system comprising a combination of AckroShield non combustible sub facing on particleboard core with MDF & HDF facings for veneering or painting.  For use with AckroLam doors or any other timber based fire door system to provide enhanced fire protection over conventional hardwood frames. Can be jointed at angles conventionally with either T & G or tenon joints.

 

AckroFrame KD

 

The basic frame system as above but with a KD jointing system, ideal for site assembly without the need for workshop jointing, enabling the AckroLam system to be supplied in kits.

 

The bonded doorframe design enhances the fire resistance of the AckroLam door, and therefore doorset, beyond that achievable with hardwood.

 

The sections vary in intumescent detailing depending on the level of fire resistance required. 

Supplied as:

 

  • Fully finished as part of a complete doorset or assembly.

  • Loose components fully or part finished for completion by fabricator or manufacturer. 

 

AckroFrame KD

  • A pre-machined frame with KD fittings for assembly on site

  • Jambs supplied full standard length (2390), head pre-drilled one end of standard length.(1190 for singles, 2390 for pairs)

  • Required process on site:

    • Drill hole in required position at other end of head section for bolt.

    • Assemble frame with fittings supplied

    • Drill for and glue & fit supplied dowels to secure joint.

 

Finishes Available

  • Fully painted in required colour to requested sheen level

  • High pressure laminate faced.

  • Solid and Veneer faced and , matching or contrasting the door finish, clear or stained factory lacquer to required sheen.
